    Cannot use native device speakers

    My wife bought this microphone for Xmas for my daughters for karaoke. Unfortunately, this microphone plugs into the headphone jack, and the iPad internal speakers then become disabled. The only way to produce sound is to plug in headphones or external speakers.

    I will return this product and purchase instead the Disney Spotlight microphone (either wired or wireless), which plugs into the iPad charging port, and so the iPad internal speakers should still function with that microphone.

    bought this today and it's not working/no sound

    crummy Mic from my initial purchase impression. Mic is not working, there is no sound and I'm really annoyed that I just got all the way home after a long day and wanted to play with the new Mic. Contents of the box smelled like moth balls and the stupid thing isn't working. Horrible experience so far, I would suggest testing it in the store before walking out with it.

    Really Fun

    We bought this for my daughter's birthday party, so she and her friends could use Karaoke apps on the ipad. It works great for this. They had a great time. It would be nice if the cord were a bit longer and if it could record in stereo, but for our daughter's uses, it works great.
