It turned my beautiful Macbook Air into something indescribably luxurious!

I received the 15" MacBook Pro version for my birthday. The computer fits perfectly even with the plastic Speck case on it. This case really looks like an antique book. It had scratches on it when purchased, but I think this is intentional to create the the look of an antique book. Leather smells good, not obnoxious & cheap.

Honestly the people who say this makes the computer get to hot must be doing some pretty heavy gaming or computer intensive work. I've used the computer in the case from the battery being fully charged down to nothing straight and the laptop barely gets hot enough to notice. Overall this is a great product and really does the already great looking macbook air justice in overall look and feel.

I love TwelveSouth's products. I have Book Book for my iPhone, and just bought this for my new 13" MacBook Air.

Pros: disguises your expensive laptop and makes it look like an antique book of some sort. Quality construction, good fit, lightweight, seems to offer great protection.

Cons: Expensive, the zipper is a little tight (you need to be careful with that), and it does increase the size of what you are carrying.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Looks great, provides good protection, throws off would be thieves! Classiest laptop case I've ever seen!

When I got this, I thought I would only use it when I was taking the MacBook outside the house. Wrong. I never take it off. Great case. Sturdy. I've gotten several compliments already.

Love this case! Does a great job of discreetly transporting the 2nd gen (2011) 13" Macbook Air, and it can be used with the Air within the case. Looks like well worn, antique high priced book. Adequately protects the air without adding too much bulk or weight. If you're a mobile professional, it looks like a 19th century legal text, or hornbook. Nice felt lined interior caresses the outside of your air, and two elastic straps made to fit around the corners of the screen hold it in place without providing too tight of a fit.

The only thing I can say is that the case looks TOO good. Bibliophiles and lovers of antiques are drawn to it, actually thinking that it is a rare and treasured tome.

Otherwise, it does such a great job at disguising the air while you transport it, that its easy to fantasize you're a spy on a top secret mission. Great way to make your case stand out from the crowd of vinyl, nylon, and wetsuit sleeves and cases out there.

Loved the BookBook. Customer service is quick & efficeint. Can actually talk to real folks.I wrote wanting BookBook from MacAir. To my pleasant surprise received email about a month+ later announcing they had it. I called & got one right away.It works so well. Fits like a glove, can have power plugged in with zipper up. The elastic corners hold it so can tilt and type. Sturdy & functional & incredibly unique & elegant design.Sits on my desk adds funk & class & protects my computer!!1
