    One hit wonder

    • Written by from Omaha

I got this case free with my phone, and I've liked incase products in the past. If you don't want to distort the sleek look of your iphone, than this case is good for that. But it doesn't wrap around the corners/edges very well, which is where your phone takes a lot of the beating. I've dropped my phone a couple of times and somehow it seems to have ended up hitting the corners every time. The case has cracked and chipped in those places and no longer offers good protection. For the money, I would get something that isn't a 'hard' material, so that the case will last as long as your phone and not just be useless after 1 drop. Not the greatest protection or price, that's why I gave it three.

    Pretty Good Case

    • Written by from Honolulu

This case really is only for if you want Minimal protection as it does not protect the top nor bottom of the phone-except for the corners. It has pretty good grip on it and it's cool because you can see the back of the phone. I dropped the case twice indoors on wooden floor and it now has two cracks in it-At least the case got the hit and not the actual phone. You have to be more careful with this case then many other cases.

    Nice while it lasts

Attractive and functional. The iPhone's style and utility remain intact. For example, the encased iPhone still slips easily into a pocket. Protected the phone in a couple of falls to hard floors. But, this case is a bit brittle, and cracks at the corners - especially near the camera lens, where mine eventually failed. I got six months of light use out of it.

    Nice but way overpriced.

This is actually what I wanted. I wanted a case that didn't hide the iPhone 4, but protected it. That's what this is, and it was the best one that I found to accomplish this.

But $35...really? Dude, it's a tiny clear piece of plastic...seriously. The only reason why we keep getting abused with these prices is because we keep paying it. As much as I like what this case does, this is the last time I pay 7 times what a product is worth. I've had it.

    good 'til the first drop

    • Written by from Fort Worth

Loved this case. Best feature is that it's clear so you hardly see it. The case did its job to protect my phone, but it broke the first time I dropped it...phone was fine. Now I need a new case; do I spend another $35 for a one-and-done case? Probably not.

    doesn't feel right

left side is loose, so between case and the phone there is a little space. if i hold it tight, left side of case makes a sound...

    not great for handling.

    Worth maybe half the price

    • Written by from Tucson

I got this case with the free case program Apple was running back in the Antenna-gate era. I'm very gentle with my devices (almost to the point of being OCD) which is why I was comfortable getting this minimal protection case. It really does a great job of showing off the iPhone. However, even though I've never dropped my phone, the case is cracked on 2 corners and one corner is halfway cracked off and it is very scuffed-up looking. Maybe worth half the price?

    it's a tradeoff

    • Written by from Issaquah

i like this case because it's super thin and sleek. i don't like cases that waste the sleek design of the phone. i'm a dude, i don't have a purse to lug around a giant OtterBox encased phone (if you want an indestructable case, get an OtterBox, btw). the tradeoff is that only minimal protection is provided.

this case doesn't cover up or inhibit access to the edges of the screen. this is important because of my large gorilla fingers. i don't care that the case scratches quickly and easily... i got it to protect the PHONE from scratches. i drop my phone frequently because, again, i have large gorilla hands. the case does a fairly good job of preventing minor dings and scratches. but my screen is now cracked. i'm not blaming the case. it's a thin piece of plastic. of course it can't protect the phone indefinitely. but $35 for a thin piece of plastic? how about $15? c'mon InCase, if you're not selling a premium item, don't charge a premium price.

    Decent but not worth $40.

This case is honestly pretty good for the first few days, but you'll notice permanent scratches and random rainbow stains on it very quickly. It still protects and hasn't cracked despite numerous drops, so I guess my only issue is with he ease of scratching.

Anyways, I'm just glad Apple/Incase finally came to their senses because I just ordered the incase Snapscase Pro for $5 less.

The case is not even a month old and is already useless. After dropping it, it becomes very annoying to put in and take out of your pocket.

3 stars is enough for this case

-the case is good, u can see the back of ur phone clear and if u look on the side u will see that it doesn't bulky at all. WHICH IS GOOD.
    - the case will also protect ur phone from dropping.

    - THE PRICE!!!!! it doesnt feel like $40 CAD at all.
    - Once u drop the phone with this case, it will have crack!!!! Bad thing about it
    - One last thing, the case SCRATCH!!!!!!
