This case is pointless. I dropped my iPhone with it on and it fell facedown and now my screen is shattered. Never buying this again.

I bought this case in April and now almost 7 months later I'll definitely replace it. First of all it's very cracked even though I never drop my iPhone and I give very good care of it, second there's a lot of mud and dust accumulated in the edges even though I constantly clean it. I thought this would be a great product because Incase is a good brand but it was a total letdown. My next case will be the Speck GemShell, let's hope that one's better! I'd recommend this product if you don't use your iPhone very often but if you use it in a regular basis it's not worth it!

I have been using this case since I got my iPhone 4 on the launch day. This case has never cracked or broke and I have removed it plenty of times in order to clean my phone. Thankfully I rarely drop my phone but this case has actually protected it from two recent substancial falls, both of which landed on asphalt! I love this case so much that I already pre-ordered it for my iPhone 5. I am not sure what the other reviewers have done to their cases causing so much breakage but I am very satisfied.

I was impressed by this case at the beginning, but after 3 months of use, the top border both on the right and left corner were scratched at first, and then broken. This means that now my iphone 4S gets hooked on almost any object.

The case is great, I love it and I love the snap-case concept. Great case... However, there are two colors, black and white. I ordered my case in black, and when I recieved the case it was more purple than black. When I put it on my phone, the apple sign on the back of my iPhone looks purple in the light. So I would say you have an option as white and purple. NOT black and purple. Great case though.

I am on my second snap case for the iPhone 4 and it has cracked, yet again, at the top. I don't care what anyone says... whatever you do with your iPhone, this case will crack. However, if they could only make it more durable, this case would be the best I have found, because the look and feel of it is second to none.

Love the minimalist form factor and just the right balance of grip and slip with the external texture. However, I've never dropped the phone and have just noticed the well documented cracks on the upper corners of the case. I would have to say it is defective by design, most abuse it has seen is sliding in and out of my pants pocket...

After my friend constantly recommended the incase I decided to drop the $35 the same day I bought my phone. It is very sleek. Feels great. Light. Makes sliding the phone into your pocket much easier and protects against scratches.
Well, a few months after owning the case I noticed small cracks on the corner. That didn't bother me... Until more appeared. All corners were now cracked. Wait. Now the camera lense area of the case now has a crack and the volume control section is so cracked it is almost to the point of breaking apart. I contacted incase and got a replacement case. No problem. That has been a few months ago and it is repeating all over again. I can't believe this case costs $35 for how short-lived it is. Needless to say my friend who recommended this case is now using a different case and as will I very soon.

I purchased this case in November of 2011. It was exactly the type of minimalist case I was looking for. All was well until, upon further inspection last month, I noticed two cracks in the radii of the upper corners of the case. Very strange, as the phone always resides in the case and has never, ever been abused. It would appear that the corner case tolerances are too tight, and when the phone is inserted, the stress over time is enough to crack the case in these locations.

I contacted Incase and just received my replacement. However, I have asked them twice, by email, if this replacement case incorporates any design refinements since the purchase of my original Snap Case. They have not responded to my requests.

I have the translucent clear case. Nice rubberized feel, still slips easily into a bag or pocket. It fits the phone well and provides fairly adequate protection on the top and bottom, while the lip of the front extends out from the phone's face just slightly. The problem, as others have found, is that the corners absolutely will crack, especially around the camera lens. I have never dropped the phone and am very careful with it-- have only taken the case off once. Still cracked after two months. Also, the clear translucent case will discolor to a slightly reddish tint. Clean hands, no self tanner, still discolored! Not worth $35.00. It should be perfect at that price.
