I really like this cover, it does the job well, sleek protection.

Problem it is causing overheating, &fan is draining battery in less than quarter of normal time.

I'm removing the bottom cover to see if that helps, keeping the top cover on. At least I'll get some protection.

Come on Speck - you need to sort this out - it's a massive problem!

I've had it for 3 months now and travel a lot with my air/this case, plastic things that hold the case in place are starting to crack and break off, i'm very careful with my stuff so i am very suprised it's breaking so soon after dropping 50 bucks on a 2 pieces of plastic. It did save me on a couple drops at the airport.

I just wish there were more/better products out of there.

the case is great for protection. the only problem i have is that it gets fingerprints all over it. so make sure if you eat anything wash your hands first. but overall good case. looks good on macbook air.

There aren't a lot of cases out there for the 11" Macbook Air, so I was kind of without choices. I love Incase but they didn't have anything but sleeves, so I thought I'd try the Speck case. It looks great on, with the apple lit up it almost looks like a black Macbook. It hasn't added too much weight to the laptop and it was easy to put on.

Just be careful when taking it off!! Start from the bottom, near the back and work your way up when removing the pieces. Or better yet... don't touch it too much. I cracked the case in the same week when I tried to remove the top part from the side. Nice thing was Apple let me exchange it since I just got it. Speck also has a 1 year warranty for defects and you can send it in for a replacement.

Fits MacBook Air beautifully without adding heft or weight to it. You barely even notice it is there when using the laptop. One thing that I love is that you can now open the laptop without using two hands (a major annoyance for anyone on the go). The rear feet are "anti-tilting" which prevents the bottom from lifting off of the surface. It definitely adds a touch of style too. Overall, great design and great functionality!

Just received mine today, and after calling Customer Service to see why my first order was returned to sender...Well.. I was surprised at the outstanding service I was given, the young lady refunded my purchase and then in turn replaced my order for a free case as a thank-you for my patience...kudos to you my dear for making my Apple purchase a pleasure, And it only took 7 days to get here in the Arctic. The case is black and fits my "13 MBA perfectly, no real weight noticed and I like added protection it provides. Would have got a five if their was more colour options..but I'm sure in the future their will be.
