this product is overrated, it is not worth 213.00 its small yes, but its not very loud like the adds suggest. if i were at a party, and this was the speaker providing the music like the video showed, than it would b worth it. but its not i tested it out and its not all that great, plus its way over priced. next time make a product that is worth the money..i might as well buy a new iphone 4 for that cash. if this were louder than advertised, than its worth it, but in my opion no.

Jawbone has simply scored a home run with the Jambox!! The Jambox has great sound, easily connects to my iPhone4 via bluetooth, and is updatable by using Jawbone's MyTalk. The sound is crystal clear and the bass resonates musical bliss. I love being able to pair with multiple music sources. This may be the best electronics purchaseI made this year to go with my apple products!!!!

anyone who has anything negative to say about this 6" x 2" x3" beautifully designed box is delusional. This is the perfect portable companion for music and media lovers. The ipad and phone have somewhat pathetic volume output and this little godsend negates all that. taking calls on the jambox is easy as cake and the ability to use the device for skype conferencing on a mobile device is just too good to be true. The range on the bluetooth is shocking, it goes thru walls and even at 40 feet it works without audio distortion. The battery life is kinda amazing and u need only a usb port to charge it on the go. Honestly it is not a home theatre system and no device this size is ever going to blow you away with base, but if it is a portable solution you wouldn't want that anyway. Buy this if you have an ipad, iphone, a touch or just want better sound for watching movies from your laptop. You will not regret the purchase.

Remarkable. This is what bluetooth is all about. You know we are living in a high tech world when this kind of sound comes out of such a small object. INCREDIBLE. Worth every bit of $200 bucks, if you like good sound in a small package.

If you are considering this product, the most important thing to do (as with any product, I suppose) is to ignore the manufacturer's overblown hyperbole. This is a very small speaker, so there is no "earth-shaking bass," and not a lot of "room-filling sound." For a wireless speaker that's compact and portable enough to carry anywhere, though, the sound is better than you might expect. As long as you are expecting the sound of a compact portable speaker. It does have a driver inside that makes the unit vibrate with the low notes, but there simply isn't enough speaker area to move enough air to create deep bass notes that you can hear (louder volumes do provide more fidelity than quieter ones). There is one, serious, major complaint that is almost a deal-breaker: start-up, Bluetooth pairing, and shutdown are accompanied by tone and voice prompts that are OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD. If you need to turn this thing on or off in a quiet place, where you also need to be quiet, forget about it. Even covering the speakers won't shut it up. Overall, it's a pretty good product, but whether it's worth two hundred bucks will depend entirely upon how much money you have to toss around.

For the 20 seconds of sound I was able to steal out of the 4 hours of tinkering with this $200 speaker, I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. The device pairs with both my iPad and iPhone but will not push any audio out via bluetooth. I was able to muster 3 seconds with each powering on and off session, then the sound would cut off and disappear. I have already downloaded the updater program which has had no effect in solving the problem.

After plugging in the stereo jack and removing it, the speaker would play wirelessly for a minute then cut off as before. Have already reset both iPad, iPhone, and JAMBOX multiple times.

It seems to me this product is defective. I'm hesitant to get a replacement in fear of going through the same turmoil from today. Had it worked from the get-go, I'd have given it 4 stars (still too expensive) for the portability, size, and design (well, maybe not so much the engineering design).

Yes, it is small. Perhaps too small, it can't handle descent surround or even stereo sound effects. And there is subtle whining sound that discomforts my ears. I am returning it.

this thing is fantastic - I have been looking for a bluetooth unit to drop some $ on for good portable sound with iPad, speakerphone / blackberry phone / friends phones / kids iPod etc etc etc. Pairing is simple, sound to size is really amazing - have it close for quality which is easy due to it's size. It is smaller then you think. The only reason it is getting only 4 stars is because I decided to walk into an apples store to get it - it was the most awful brutal experience.

This is the first of many various brands that will stock shelves in the future for cheaper but I am happy cause it is awesome

I love the packaging it came in, and easy simple instructions. It paired up almost automatically as I didn't need to put in a code. But before I paired anything I totally charged it up. I love the rubberized top and bottom and neoprene case. My husband said it's one of those coolest mini speaker packages he's ever seen. Forget wifi, this bluetooth device is the ultimate.

I'm picky but this thing is superb. Speakerphone in my office for my iPhone - without wires, plus plays iPod music.

Sound quality is good for such a small box. Announces number that is calling before u hit its talk button - nice touch. U press a button to have it speak the battery level - clever.

Gonna buy a couple more. Only weird thing - the packaging is bland for such a "high tech" concept. And yea i am sure in 60 days there will be zillions of these out of Asia at half the price but oh well.
