There is NO play, pause ,resume, skip, and skip back
    Expensive! Expensive! Expensive!
For the price you can get a better Bluetooth speaker like the one that has *USB port to power/charged most USB device (*very useful)

    Poor construction, incompetent customer service

Don't buy this thing. I'm on my third in four months: the first one arrived broken, the second broke within a month (no, I didn't drop it -- it just stopped working), and the third has managed to survive, but I'm already seeing gaps in the casing that are going to let moisture and dust inside. The USB cord bent next, and it took customer service three tries to get the right one sent out. It takes them forever to deal with service issues, and frankly I think there are better speakers out there; the Jambox is good (when it's working), but you can always hear a faint hiss in the background, and you have to choose between clarity and volume. I see that the price has come down from $200; if it gets down to around $150, I might reconsider, but for now, when this third one breaks, I'm trying another brand. I've had enough.

    DO NOT BUY! :(

Someone rightly said as to not to judge a "bluetooth speaker" by the way it looks. Having owned a Monster iClarity (Seriously loud), X-mini KAI (fits in ur palm but still as loud as ur Ma) and a Bose Soundlink (won't compare with this one now) i expected JAMBOX to sound as good as Monster iClarity or even better but it turned out to sound only as good or less as my iPhone 4S. Bought today, returning tomorrow. I don't get how a company like Jawbone can get away with this. How dissapointing!!

    Over Rated! :(

    • Written by from KANSAS CITY

I live in a very small studio apt. and the sound from the Jambox is very very poor... I had to return and purchase the Bose Soundlink (Bluetooth) for extra $100.
I would recommend any of the iHome products before this flawed and overrated device. Lastly, The downloads and updates are pointless and a waste of time.... too much work.... Boo...

Jawbone dropped the ball on this one!!

    • Written by from Sheridan

The noise NoiseAssassin 3.0 does not work, and their is no way for you to turn it on or off like the older jawbones.
It also looks like Apple will not take it back you have to deal with Jawbone.
But it does work good in quiet places, and I did like the fit.

    Poor sound output Jambox

    • Written by from Bristol

Don't waste your money. I bought Jambox and it's the worst product I have ever bought for such a high price.
Downloaded the updates etc, even putting the volume up to max, produces little more sound, than when I get sound through my Ipad, or Iphone.
What's the point! There is slightly higher volume using the stereo cable, and yes I have the sound level up full volume on the Ipad and Iphone.

Back to using Creative Lab speakers, they are the very best.

    Distortioned

    • Written by from San Ysidro

Sound is not good, "hiss" distortion noise an Bass are not powerful according to the size of the speakers. Price-Quality ratio is Poor. My 21 inch iMac speakers has better sound. I am not exaggerating.

    Returned the product

    • Written by from Bloomfield

Don't know what's with all the hype surrounding this jambox product. I bought it and as soon as I heard the sound coming out of the tiny speakers, I just had to pack it and returned it. Sure having a wireless set of speakers could be cool but that's about it. I bought speakers to listen to them not to stare at them. If it doesn't sound good, I have no use for them. I've heard a $10 set of wired speakers from a local store that sounded about the same as this $200 box. My recommendation is not to waste your money on the jambox.
