I bought this, got super excited and fell inlove with how it looked and felt.
3 months of having this, the gold peeled, the card holders became stretched and
I no longer can keep cards in the slips. Also the designer put the strap upside down
So your cards and phone are upside down. Also, the strap broke off and isnt functional.
The stitching has started to come lose. I always took good care of it, and the price -
I thought it would be good quality. But this is not worth it.
I am considering on the zip up one instead to properly hold everything

I bought this case because I wanted something that would cover the face of the phone and limit my chances of cracking my phone's screen. Wallet cases in general do that, and an added feature with this case is that it also provided space for me to carry an id and credit card if I needed to travel lightly.

However... the function of wallet cases in general is where the positives with this case stop. About three months into me owning the case, I noticed some peeling of the leather inside. Since then the case has deteriorated quickly, so that the inside of my case looks more white (the base color) than gold.

About two weeks ago, the cord which attaches the wristlet to the case itself became threadbare and snapped - leaving my phone on the floor and the wristlet strap in my hands.

The Apple store does not stand by their products and refuses to exchange the product or refund my money.

For $80 and a name such as Michael Kors, I expected better quality and am severely disappointed. I get compliments on this frequently and tell people not to buy this. I recommend the same to you.

This clutch is extremely Expensive for quality. Apple store does not stand behind it or Michael Kors that they tell you. Don't waste your money there's cheaper and better ones out there. Try the guess store lot better quality and a lot less price. Disappointed that neither Apple nor Michael Kors stands behind this product considering the price. The inside of the gold all flakes off in about 2 to 3 months.

Like a lot of the other reviews, the everyday wear and tear soon had my case falling apart. The inner leather part that lays on the front of the phone is too flimsy and starting to get in the way of my closing the case all the way.
The lack of a camera hole also got annoying after having to take my phone out to take pics the first 15 times.
If you purchase this case, I would only use it on occasion to make it last longer but I feel the price point is too high for that so I would really think twice before buying it at all. I guess the price is due to the MK brand name.

I bought this case for $85 when it just came out. And i regret it. Very poorly made for Michael Kors and for the PRICE!! it fell apart in only months. Maybe if i only used it on special occasions or when I went out it would have lasted longer.
I advise everyone out there dont waste your money!!!

Purchased two of these for my fiance and mom and they both started falling apart within a few months of use. Very poor quality which is surprising as Sena does the manufacturing and their other cases are extremely well made.

Bought this in January, the wallet on the inside is peeling and tearing and the strap is
coming away from the wallet such that if I use the wallet around my wrist
it's sure to break off!

However it is beautiful and has gotten many compliments, but it looks tacky on the inside so much so that I'm embarrassed to open it in "public".

I own many leather goods and am OCD, so I do take wonderful care of my items and many of them have aged beautifully and are still in great condition, but this MK wallet is a huge disappointment for the price more so being a Michael Kors product I would've expected much higher quality and attention to detail regarding the materials used.

I have this case in black patent. I love it! I have not had any serious problems, but I did have a shoemaker punch in a hole so that I could use the camera with out taking it out of the case. The gilt does flake off and is not very durable, but it is pretty enough that I still give this a high rating.

I have used this clutch since the day after Thanksgiving. I have the red one; the outside is still as the day of purchase. I love that my phone is always on my wrist and never misplaced. The gold on the inside has recently started to peel, but it has not affected the quality or look of my clutch. I do not at all mind removing my phone for an occasional photo op; nothing inconvenient about sliding the phone from its pocket. This is the best protection for my phone I have ever enjoyed. I am planning to purchase more.

I loved this when I received it. I've had it only 4 months and the inside is ripped. The wristlet strap broke while I was on vacation and my phone went flying. The wristlet strap was hardly ever used. DO NOT BUY! Apple does not stand behind this product. I've go to try to go thru Michael Kors. I'm not seeing much hope there.
