    I own 2

I have never had the issue that people have below. I own one for my iPad 2, and one for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and they both fit perfectly. They have never slipped out.

    Works great!

Works great on my original iPad and I had this for over a year. I just can't see how it would "slip" out. Works great for me!

    Just bought a second Loop!

    • Written by from raleigh

This stand is perfect for use around the house or office, and I now have one upstairs and down. It shows off the iPad beautifully when in picture frame mode, and with an understated and classy profile, the beauty is in the design's inherent simplicity and superior functionality. It is sturdy, the typing angle is just right, and most exciting for me was the discovery that it works great on a lap -- a surprise bonus that I'd just about given up on finding. On the couch, in bed, or curled up in a comfy chair, I am now able to comfortably type -- something not possible with the A-Frame or other stands with a less sturdy or narrower base. It has greatly enhanced my iPad experience, and I love it! Highly recommended, and for the price it's hard to go wrong.

THE best accessory for the Ipad and its case

    • Written by from Danbury

I was hesitant to purchase the Apple case for my Ipad because, although it is a quality product, it greatly limited my use of the Ipad. After trying many aftermarket cases, I really wanted the Apple case, as there is no case on the market that offers the thin profile, thus not adding size or weight to the Ipad.
Enter the Griffin Loop. This device, as simplistic as it is, turns the Ipad with its case into a really usable device. Those who already own the case know that the ability of the Ipad to stand on its own without support is weak, at best, and unusable in a plane or any situation where there is movement of any kind. With the Ipad in its case sitting in the Loop, it feels solid and will not tip, even under the most adverse conditions.
The general quality of the Loop is also outstanding and will probably last for the life of the Ipad and more.

    LOVE IT!

This stand is perfect. I have a hard thin case/sleeve and it fits well. I have it on my counter top and it does not budge at all.

This is one great stand! Smart & Solid Design

    • Written by from Etobicoke

This is one great stand. I like it so much I just picked up a second because I was carrying it all around the house. It has a smart design that allows you to use it several ways (see pictures) but what I like most is the weight and the depth of the slot your iPad sits in. Once I place my iPad in the stand in the deep slot I do not worry about the iPad falling out. I use one on my night stand and do not worry about knocking it over, very tip sturdy. While it may be on the heavy side to take on the go everyday, I do on occasion. I have my iPad in a case and it Still works great in this stand. 5 Stars from me.

    Simple But Great!

    • Written by from PEMBROKE

You know that little rubbery stand that the iPads sit on for display in the Apple Stores? I asked one of the Apple geeks if they were for sale anywhere. He said it was one of the most asked questions in the store. The reason is that there are many stands that hold the iPad up for viewing at different angles but few that also have a comfortable angle for typing or viewing while working on a desk. This does both great but the typing angle is perfect. The Loop is made from a quality, solid, rubbery material that grips the iPad and keeps it from even the slightest movement. I'd remove half a star if I could only for not having another pair of notches that would allow it to sit between the upright and typing positions. Otherwise, this is simple but also simply great. Well thought out and designed. Sometimes the simplest ideas...

    Wonderful Stand!

I recently purchased this stand to support my iPad when not in use on my dresser and I love the simple, sturdy design and the fact that it supports my iPad in 3 different positions! Looks great also! I can also easily carry it from room to room with me when I need to. It also supports my iPad even while it's in the Otterbox case which is a definite plus.

    Great for student desks

    • Written by from ALEXANDRIA

I was looking for a rugged stand that would work well on a very small desk (a classroom desk) in both landscape and portrait modes. This Griffin loop fits the bill nicely. My students can use it for research and keynote presentations on their small desks, while using a bluetooth keyboard - it's perfect!

They stack nicely as well. Yes, they are not attractive, but for my purposes, it matters not!

The Best stand I could ask for

    • Written by from berkeley

Typing using the stand is a pleasure! I use it all the time, even when I sit on the couch because of the perfect angle at which it holds the iPad. Someone was complaining about the price, but 30$ today isn't that much. You pen 1000$ for the iPad and complain about the 30!?
I would highly recommend it for anyone. If you don't like it, return it!

    BEST stand/dock available!

    • Written by from Unionville

Typing angle on this stand is a pleasure, viewing movies on this stand is a pleasure, and docking it is great because the power cable still fits even in verticle oriemtation. It has good weight to it to kepp it firmly planted even when pressing the home button. Best purchase and a great price. Highly recommended.

    Simple, Inexpensive Solution

    • Written by from Nanuet

I purchased the Griffin Loop Stand about two weeks ago. It's design reminds me of the stands that Apple uses in their stores to display the iPad. The Loop Stand takes that a few steps further by allowing both portrait and landscape modes at two different angles. The upright position is great for viewing video, as I often stream MLB games on it. The other position is great for typing emails, working in pages, etc. Overall, it's one of the best and most affordable stands I've found so far for the iPad. Highly recommended.
