    Serious Software, Super Tech Support, Very Happy Owner

    This program is just what I needed and more. I now have Mavericks and DG on an repartitioned external HD so my iMac HD can be efficiently defragged and repaired independany - it's only using up 30GB, while I can also use DG from my Mac HD to work on the two external HDs. Reggie in Tech support was truly an unexpected pleasantry in today's service industry. I received two thorough emails guiding me with videos and caring guidance. This program is easy if you just take your time in getting understanding. With its "Drive-Pulse" running you'll be notified if there is a problem brewing - by email. That caught a internal HD in time for warranty work to be done, and a corrupted Time Machine that was corrected with DG too. I wouldn't own a Mac without it!

    Great customer service, amazing product

    This little piece of software does it all - defrag, repairs, verification, reformat. It's the true pro Swiss Army Knife of hard drive utilities. Plus, whenever I had a question, they were ready and willing to help like few companies I know. Extremely impressed.

    Satisfaction with Drive Genius 3 and the support

    I am very very satisfied with the Programme that i have bought 2 years ago and it helps me very often and more i am very satisfied with the good the very good help from the Support of Prosoft Engineering. Thank you so much for their rapid help.

    Excellent Product and Customer Service

    I've used drive Genius on occasion—preventive maintenance and some corrective efforts. It's been a very useful product. As a customer (since 2009), I've been pretty low-maintenance. Recently however, I was having difficulty accessing the download for a software update. I sent an email to Customer Service and received the information (reply email) I needed within a day. Thanks guys; you rock!

    Honestly must have software

    My SSD crashed and data recovery costs start at about $500. So I bought Drive Genius 3 instead. I successfully copied all of my files from a "bad" drive by removing it and using a SATA-USB 3.0 connector, after putting the original HD back in my Mac. This software was able to negate the bad blocks in my drive and copy out my data. I have been able to open every file so far, so nothing appears to be corrupt. Having Drive Genius run checks on my drives every couple of weeks is great piece of mind. You won't realize how valuable your hard drive is until you lose it! I have several products from ProSoft. All are 10/10.

    Good Software and Outstanding Customer Service

    I purchased this software along with a new hard drive from Other World Computing. I was advised by an OWC Tech to also buy this software to help with the installation. The software was flawless!

    The next day or two after that, I upgraded to Mavericks and then attempted to run Defrag and it wouldn't work. I emailed Drive Genius 3 technical support about the issue. They responded the same day with a work around that guided me through. Then apologized for the inconvenience and advised that a new version will be released soon that will correct this. Well Done! I like this software and this company!

    Drive Genius is life-saving!

    I use Drive Genius to constantly monitor my drives (which I have 14 drives attached to my Mac) and alert me to problems. I am a designer and have thousands of important client files. Drive Genius always alerts me when there is a problem with a drive so that I can backup and either repair or replace the drive. I know Drive Genius has saved me many times before a drive failed completely! Great software with many other really great tools. I highly recommend it!

    What a great product!

    I am constantly uploading and deleting files from my Mac mini which causes defragmentation to the point where my computer starts to slow. BINGO! Drive Genius solves the problem overnight. At one time I had two systems on my mac and when I finally got rid of the old one after going through it in detail, DG came through again overnight. When I have questions or problems about things I don't understand, DG technical support is really off the hook. The same quality as Apple tech support. The other features of the software work just as well. I like the automatic notice when DG discovers a problem while quietly running in the background. Can't ask for more. I'm not the easiest person to get along with cause I think I know everything about computers but they handle me properly. I've never gone away from tech support un satisfied. Definitely worth the money.

    I am not very adept at computers. I was having trouble running DriveGenious 3 so I called their help number.I didn't have to wait long and a man answered and helped me get hooked up. I really appreciate the fact that he was american and spoke english.He was very knowledgable and patient.I will always buy a product from a company that can back up their product. That's why I buy Apple products

    Rapid, helpful Customer Support

    Had some difficulty installing the latest Drive Genius under Mavericks. It took a phone call to the support line, a prompt reply by email, and I was up and running in no time.
    The support specialist was prompt, courteous, and effective. ProSoft has wonderful "real person" support for their utility products.

    Excellent Technical Support

    I was having difficulty in installing an update to Drive Genius 3. Ordinarily these updates install without a hitch and require no special knowledge to either start or complete. However, for a reason unknown to me at the time, the update in question was having a problem reading and authenticating the product key
    and there was no clue pointing to this glitch. I just got an error message saying that the update could not be installed. Hence, I contacted Prosoft Engineering Customer Support and included the exact text of the error message. Shortly thereafter tech support contacted me with an explanation
    and suggested solution. I followed their instructions and in just a few short minutes I was up and running with the newly updated version of Drive Genius 3.

    Prosoft Engineering Customer Support responded quickly with the solution that got me back on the rails easily and promptly. I give them the highest marks for their excellent tools and spot on customer tech support.

    I've used Diskwarrior and Techtool Pro and this is the best of the three. It saved me when the other two failed. The technical support is excellent too! I can't wait for version 4!!

    Drive Genius etc.

    Prosoft Engineering makes excellent software. I have used several of their products over the past few years, including Drive Genius, Data Backup, and Klix. All their applications are user friendly as well as having powerful capabilities, and their support staff is prompt and helpful when customers have questions or need assistance.

    After I got a MacBook Pro in 2010, I used Drive Genius to check my external backup drives and later to partition the internal drive so I could run two systems without first having to erase the drive; I currently use both systems nearly every day. Also, I defragment both halves every now and then, as I seem to rename and/or move files and folders quite often as my projects change. The verify and repair features I use from time to time, which are more powerful than the Mac's utilities.

    Data Backup was the only program I used for backups 2007-2010, and restoring a file or folder is easy to do. I also used it to transfer most of the contents of my old computer to the new. At present I use it regularly to back up to a little USB 1TB drive; my Mac uses Time Machine daily with a large-footprint external drive.

    This past week I updated Klix to see what it would recover from a failing camera card. I was amazed by the results and how easy it was to do.

    Great Support ABU

    I have had DG-3 & Drive Rescue-3 for almost 2 Years. DG-3 identified a problem with my hard drive that Apple testing did not early on. They fixed it. Now I had to up grade my USB Bootable Drive to the latest version. With no questions asked they provided me with the links necessary.
    I would say this is truly great support.
