Can you use connect the Performance MX Mouse via bluetooth directly to the Macbook Pro without having to use the USB receiver?

Best AnswerNo. It uses a special dongle that supposedly is faster than bluetooth, so you need the dongle. I would rather have a bluetooth mouse, even though this mouse is rather nice and precise.

Can i use this mouse with a non wireless keyboard? I have an imac with my keyboard attached to my computer

AnswerYes. Just make sure you have an open USB port (the rectangle-shaped hole) that you can put the receiver into. Then you should be set up just fine. For using Logitech input devices on Macs, I'm pretty sure that you need to download an application called LCC Connection Utility first (at the support pat of Logitech's website) then you will be off to enjoying your new mouse!
Hope I helped,

While connecting the mouse to PC using the included usb cable does the mouse still need the receiver to work? (corded-mode?)
In other word, does it really run cord-mode? I want to know because I'm not sure about the wireless, sometime they will lag, cord mode provide perfect connection for gaming!

AnswerYes. The USB-cable is only for charging, apparently.

Is this mouse Snow Leopard compatible or not?
The stats say it's compatible with "Mac OS X v.10.4 or later", but the user review titled "Impressive yet..." says there are features that can't be accessed with Snow Leopard.
I realize "compatible" could just mean "yes it works with Snow Leopard, but you can't do everything with it that you could do with Windows".- Asked by Jeffrey M from North Hollywood

How about use in gaming applications?
Own one Logitec mouse and found it good for non-gaming, but sensitivity was too severe for FPS applications. I'd like to invest in another mouse, but outside of gaming the one I use now is adequate. I want high performance device that will work equally well on any occasion, work or play.
