I'd like to use this cable to play my 1st Generation ITouch through the speakers in my Rover Sport. I used a different brand of cable for my daughter's IPOD and it worked for hers but not my ITouch. Will this brand work?

This cable works great with the iPod touch. It actually works with all the ipod models - it just plugs into the earphone jack! You'll love it.

Answer
As long as your stereo has a 1/8 inch AUX input, this cable will work. If you don't have the AUX input, you should get one of those tape player to mp3 adapters.

If I use the Monster iCable 800 to listen to music from my iPhone - can I also receive phone calls via my bluetooth hook-up in the car?
We have a 2010 Subaru Outback with bluetooth for my iPhone. I would like to be able to hook up my iPhone via the aux jack in the car to be able to listen to it with the car's sound system. If we are using my phone to listen to music - will I still be able to take an incoming phone call?

Answer
Yes but to take the call, you must speak into the iPhone as you if it was in "speaker" mode during a call. The sound will come out of the car stereo.
