what if my car doesnt have a cassette player and i want to listen to my ipod through my car speakers?
- Asked by Katie N from Richmond

I think your best option in that situation is to buy an FM radio transmitter for your iPod. They work really well and what's even better is that you can listen to your iPod through any speakers that are connected to a radio. You won't be limited to just your cars stereo, like you would be if you were using a cassette adapter.

Does it work with a car cassette player with automatic reverse?
- Asked by Thomas I G from Lake Quivira
- Oct 15, 2009
- Flag as inappropriate
Answer
I have no problems so far and don't expect any because the auto reverse is activated when a tape ends and there is resistance to roller. Since there is no actual tape, the end-of-tape, and hence auto reverse, never happens.

How does the sound quality compare to an FM transmitter? Any "hiss" that is typical of tape decks?
- Asked by Ed H from Mora
- Dec 31, 2009

Answer
Many times better than FM transmitter generally although on those few occasions when there are inteference, FM transmitter quality seems to be better. Not sure about actual specs but I think freq range is wider. Having said that, it is rare that FM sounds does not have interference so overall I still prefer the Cassette 800

All this adapter needs is for the cassette end of the adapter to be insert in the tape deck, and the 3 mm audio jack to be plugged into your iPod. Your car only needs a tape player.
