elgato video capture won't open
I have used elgato video before, now it won't recongize the usb connection. I have reinstalled and still won't open..what do I do?

Will this capture device connect my panasonic nv gs15 camcorder to my macbook air (18 months old)
I have a panasonic digital video recorder, uses those small tape cassettes and I want to transfer from the camera to my macbook air which is about 18 months old, but regularly updated.
The macbook air does not have a firewire port do I need one?

AnswerYes, but with a near 1.5 milisec/sec delay. Glad that Forza 2/3 can save entire races at that point I can just go back and capture the race without having to sacrifice my gaming experience.

Does this convert mod to avi or mpeg? I have a JVC camcorder but MAC does not read the .mod version.

MY video player plays both NTSC and PAl videos. The Video Capture works well for NTSC but does not work for PAL? What can I do for the PAL format?

AnswerSorry, but no. The Video Capture only works with its included software application. It is not a general purpose input devices.

AnswerNo, you can't. Elgato Video Capture only works with the Elgaot-Software for recording, not for streaming.

AnswerI'm currently running Lion and have had no problems with the software/hardware. It may not officially be supported but it works for me.
