As many as you like! Its all on the game CD. You have to use the disc to play the game, so you would have to purchase more then one disc to play the game on more then one computer simultaneously. Happy gaming!

As a Sims fan for life, I have been playing for about a decade now. The rating is pretty accurate for a teenager.
In terms of game complexity, if you really want to play as a life simulation, 13-14 would be great, but I do not know the person you are buying for.
As far as content goes, the game blurs everything out and there is no real content that I would define as explicit. Yeah, you can make them kiss, but what 10-12 year old hasn't sen that happen in real life/on television? So that's more a judgment call on your part.
It is an enjoyable game and I would recommend it.- Answered by PC from Worcester

Will sims3 slow down 2009 macbook?
When I got sims2 for my imac, it drastically slowed down performance of computer and I feel like it probably caused some permanent damage since my iMac has never really run the way it did before i installed sims 2 on it again. I'm a big fan and would love to get sims 3 for my 2009 macbook pro but am afraid the same thing will happen.

Is there any work-around for PC system requirement of Vista OS?
I have a pretty buff system that was built for gaming and film editing, so I would think the processing power, memory, etc. is sufficient. However, I don't want to spend $70 on the game if it's going to have lots of problems running on XP. I refuse to switch to Vista because...well, because it's Vista. Is there any work-around for running this on an alternate OS?
