Best AnswerNo - You would have to buy the SoundDock® Portable digital music system that has a lithium battery.
It is a lot more expensive at £349 !!!

AnswerBose claim 3 hours at maximum volume. A strange claim as most manufacturers would base battery life at "modest" volumes. At what I would consider to be fairly medium volume range you are looking at about 10 hours, if it is indoors and the volume is longer then it will be 10 hours+

AnswerYes. As long as this sound dock has a "line-in" (i.e. 3.5mm input) you can get a 3.5 male to male cable and connect it to the airport express. It should have a line in.
