are the speakers compatible with iPhone 4 and is there a dock adapter?

Answer
They're compatible in that you can plug your iPhone 4 in and it'll play music, it'll sync your iPhone if you click the switch on the back of the Speakers - however a iPhone 4 adapter wasn't included when I bought it (Pre-iPhone 4), and they don't provide one now - there might be one available.
The speakers aren't compatible in that your phone can interfere with the speakers if you get a call, message etc.- Answered by Alex C from Newcastle Upon Tyne

You'll have to use the 1/8" minijack input at the back of the XS, the same way it seems to be displayed in the Apple Stores.

Answer
Absolutely! In fact, they sound fantastic! If possible though plug the USB from the speakers DIRECTLY into your computer rather than a hub. Personally, I believe it works better this way. BTW, I have the MBP 15" i7 (april 2010.)

Answer
yes, quite easily. depending on the distance from the wallwart/transmitter, you may want to buy a stereo mini (headphone jack style) male with RCA female end adapter to hook up to the stock white apple adapter as that is quite short

will Focal XS run on 220 Volt power?
I am considering buy these buy live in South Korea. The power in Korea runs on 220V versus 110 in North America. Before I purchase these, I would like to know if they will run without using a power converter. Are they dual voltage?

Is the focal xs compatible with the iPhone 3gs? Will it charge and play at the same time? Too many iPod accessories will not work with an iPhone.

Best Answer
Mine will charge but not play at the same time from the phone. But why would you need it too as you can play from your i-tunes account. You can sync from the speakers there is a flick switch at the back that lets you do that. If the phone is working you can get feedback to the speakers whilst charging unless you put in Airline mode.
Basically I charge my phone from a plug. The touch seems to have no problem.- Answered by Timothy B

Answer
Yes, I sold there Car audio Speakers for about a year... From that I found that there were not many speakers out there that could compete with Focal setups. They cost so much because EVERYTHING they make is made in house, down to melting there own copper and creating more dense strands to wrap the voice coils. These guys are the "Rolls Royce" of creating speakers. Bose is more like Chevy! Hope this helps!

I like a fair amount of bass in my music (typically listen to electronica/dance/techno-as-it-were). Is this set-up going to provide good low-end?
Wondering if anyone can provide a testament that this sub-woofer suits low-end enthusiasts like me? Otherwise I am sold on the looks and quality of this set up.

Answer
The Focal XS set up reproduces low end frequencies very well and maintains fidelity without any noticeable distorsion, ( including CDs brought in to iTunes, using iTunes MP3 sampling defaults). With base-orineted music, such as Techno or House, the sub-woofer comes to life and keeps up with large amounts of air displacement, again with no apparent distorsion. I have had my Focal XS on an iMac 24 for about two months now and I continue to be amazed by the overall sound quality

Answer
No problem! As long as you have a USB port it works. You will need to change one sound setting in your Configuration Panel once you hook it up. Takes about a second.
