will it work with mountain lion?
I used Logitech trackman marble trackball with snow leopard OS X 10.6.8 successfully, but now that I have upgraded to Mountain Lion (new computer) logitech claims its software does not work when I try to download it. Anyone else having this problem? I don't like to use a mouse, and have used logitech trackballs for years. Does this one or any other work with the new Mountain Lion OS?

Best AnswerI'm using it with Mountain Lion. It works just fine. I used the disc that came with the mouse originally to load the software, rather than downloading. No problem at all.

What are the physical measurements of this mouse? Length, width and height would be very helpful. I have a very small space in which to fit a mouse.

Answerapprox 7 inches long, 3 inches tall, 3 inches wide. it takes up very little room on your desktop because it doesn't move like a mouse. the trackball stays put and you spin the ball.

Can I scroll the window up-down or left-right? One button can be programmed to activate this function? I hate to travel any time to the scroll bar!

Best AnswerIt'll work with Snow Leopard's native drivers. Logitech has updated the Logitech Control Center software for Snow Leopard so you can customize the buttons.

This is probably a silly question, but can one of the customizable buttons be configured as a right click button?

AnswerIf you download and install the latest Logitech Control Center software from www.logitech.com, you can assign the right-click to any button, including the mini buttons.
Without installing the Logitech software, the non-primary button becomes the "right click".- Answered by Joseph E from Rialto
