will an iPhone 3GS with a Otterbox case (Defender) fit in the port?

Best AnswerSadly, no, the Otterbox Defender case is too deep (the extrusion/protection around the dock port is recessed too far to connect with this, plus the rubber doesn't really fit very well.

Will the Bose SoundDock II work with & charge the 4rd Generation I-pod touch?

Best AnswerBose customer service said that “testing showed that all iPod models would fit into the Sound Dock II, the iPod Touch 4 may be a little more snug then previous models”
Apple customer service however stated that the iPod Touch 4 is not compatible with any Bose products at this time. The iPod Touch 4 is a new technology and there are few accessories for it at this time, however give it a few months and there will be a bunch of companies making products for the iTouch 4.
I personally own an iPod Touch 4, an iPod Nano 1st gen and a Bose Sound Dock II, the Nano works perfectly, however I could NOT get the Touch 4 to fit into the dock. I got the Bose dock knowing I would purchase the Touch 4 at release, and here I am with a $300 dock that will only play my 5 year old Nano.- Answered by Casey P from Sioux City

Will "aux in" work with my macbook? Has anyone tried this?
I've tried another speaker dock (Phillips) and it wouldn't work with laptops, just other mp3 players. Also tried JBL Onstage IIIp (two of them) and they wouldn't work with my iphone.

What accessory do you need to get this to play AM/FM radio ?
- Asked by Jacques D from Etobicoke
- Nov 1, 2009
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerYou would need an AM/FM radio device and a 3.5 mm (1/8") mini-adapter to connect your AM/FM radio device to this product.
Alternatively, you might like to look at the Bose Wave Music System. It includes an AM/FM radio.- Answered by Andrew B from Sydney
