how to charge iphone 4??
I have a alpine cda-9831r and the alpine kca-420i and iphone 4, all works as it should except the phone does not charge, will this PASSPORT enable charging of my phone

Does this work with a Jaguar XF 2010 and an IPOD Classic 160GB latest generation
I have just purchased both a new Jaguar XF 2010 model and an IPOD Classic 160gb. The Jaguar has the portable audio interface so I can connect to my IPOD. However, I understand there is no way of charging my IPOD while using the PAI. Does the Scosche Passport Car Charging Adaptor work to allow the IPOD to charge up ??

the latest model XFs have reconfiguered cables.
I tried a cable from one last week at the Jag. dealers, it charged my 4th. gen nano no problem,without an adaptor.My current lead won't charge it even with a scoshe, but it charges both my classics without a scoshe.I never thought to try the classics with the new cable.Anyhow I have a new cable on order,under warranty,only prob. I'll have a long wait for it, a shortage of new cables I have been told. I expect the new cable to charge everthing without an scoshe. Is this any help to you?- Answered by Alan M

It will charge and play music fine, however it will show a warning that the accessory is not compatible, just clear the message and carry on. It all works fine.

Does this device work with the Alpine CDA 9857 Headunit with iPhone 4?
I have a KCA 420i Ipod Adapter fitted with this device. I would like to use the iPhone with the device. Will it be able to charge the iPhone 4 as i also use this device as my Tom Tom Sat Nav on the Application.

Does this work with an iPhone 4?
I have seen a few places saying this works with the iPhone 4 but Apple's site does not. I have an Infiniti with the iPhone integration cable which works, but does not charge. I would immediately buy this if I knew it was compatible with the iPhone 4. Anyone know if this works with the iPhone 4?

Yes it work. I have an iphone 4 with IOS 4.1. I have it hooked up to an Eclipse DVD/NAV system in my car. Works perfectly now that I have the passPORT.

I have a alpine CDA-9883 in one car and a IVA-D310 in another car and it works fine with the 5th gen nano and 3rd gen touch, so it should work with the 4th gen nano.

Does Scosche passPORT Charging Adapter for iPhone 3G work with otterbox ? My Griffin PJRES1(similar look) will not plug in with otterbox installed...
MY GRIFFIN POWRJOLT Reserve PJ-RES1 will no longer reach far enough into the iphone with the otterbox installed...

I have a 2009 scion tc with the factory installed pioneer deck and ipod cable. I have a 5th generation ipod nano. When connected to the car cable, I can play music, but my ipod doesn't charge. Will this adapter fix this issue?

Yes it will work. I have a 2006 Scion TC, its the same cable. I got the 5th gen Nano with camera and it works just fine, and charging.

I have a 2008 Scion xB and an iPhone 4. I can get the iPhone to play and the car will read out the song title and artist, but it will not charge my phone. I want to buy this but not if it still won't charge! I also have a JVC portable speaker system and an alarm clock that I would love to use. I may just buy it and try it...
