Does this meet TSA requirements so that I do not have to take the computer out of the case?
I travel a couple of times a year and wondered if this product meets the guidelines for TSA security lines? There are some cases that are allowed to pass through without taking the computer out. Will this meet those qualifications?

Hi.. it's made of neoprene (wetsuit material). Neoprene was designed for divers. It allows water to enter the material, and form a thin layer between it and the human body. This water layer is naturally warmed by the human body and keeps the diver warm. Pretty much a long winded way of saying NUP.. it's not waterproof. I imagine the design and choice of material is more for a cushioning effect.

Yes it is Airport friendly. I went thru 2 airport TSA security (roundtrip) without having to take my MacBook Pro 13" out of the Incase Sleeve. It quailifies because there are no materials that obstruct the X-ray scanners used by the TSAs.

No. But Incase does make a carrying bag that has 2 pockets on the front and one big pocket on the back with handles. It's called the Incase 13" Nylon Sleeve for MacBook.

I wouldn't advice it. The depth of this will be too deep for your air, and won't be snug. You want the sleeve to fit snugly around your computer to keep it from damage.
