Can one use this program to link a journal entry to specific contacts within the Address Book?
I would like to find a program that would allow me to record things as they occur throughout the day, tagged to specific contacts within my address book. i.e. talked with (insert contact) about new specifications on..., called (insert contact) about...
Ideally, this would generate a list of entries that I could either look up by date, or a range of dates, or that I could find by looking up that contact in the address book. (It would populate the notes section of a contact with my journal notes.)

Will this product inport or recognize files from (PC) Daily Journal 2 & 3 by Parsons Technology?
I've just moved to a Mac but I have about ten years of notes which I've made using Daily Journal 2 (and then 3) The notes are backed up on floppiys and CDs and your answer may determine the disposition of my faithful old PC.
