If I buy this software and received an email that is a Microsoft Word Document, can I open it on my Mac despite it being a Microsoft Word Document?
I'm a first time Mac buyer and I rememeber years back, that people used to have trouble converting documents made in Mac to PC compatiable and vice versa. Is this still the case? Thanks!

can it support Hebrew?
Can I use and read Hebrew with Office 2008 if I buy it with the computer via your store in America and have it installed before delivery, or do I have to buy it in Israel and have it installed here?

Does Office 2008 for Mac have the 'ribbon bar' tools like MS Office 2007 has?
All of the MS Office programs went to the new 'ribbon bar' style of menus and tools with the 2007 version. Does the Office 2008 for Mac follow this new layout?

Will Office 2008 for Mac have the same look and feel and all functionality on my iMac, exactly as if I were using Office (Excel & Word) on a PC ?
I have been a life long PC user, but have become a Mac within the past year. That being said, I do so much work with Excel that if I can get full Office 2008 functionality (especially the look and feel of Excel) on my iMac, it would be worth the investment. I know I can use Numbers to open and use an Excel file, but it will take a long time for me to learn all the ins and outs of Numbers, that I already know with Excel.
I understand another options would be to use Boot Camp and install the actual Office 2008 product. That would be more expensive, and may add more to my iMac than I need. It also sounds like it might be a little cumbersome in that, other than for Numbers, I use all other features of my iMac.- Asked by BM from CHILMARK

PC user buying a macbook. Do I need MS Office to use read and edit my old word documents.
Basically I just want to know what I need to be able to read and edit all my documents I already have on my PC. Do I need to have MS office? Do I need to have MS windows? I keep getting diffeent answers. HELP
