Does iBank allow scanned receipts, invoices, etc to be attached to a transaction?
Can I attach a scanned pdf of a remittance advice to a deposit transaction, or a scanned pdf of an invoice or statement to a check or credit card transaction?

Best Answer
Absolutely - attach photos, PDFs, scans, screenshots or any image to any transaction (you can even even review them in Cover Flow). In fact, when it's easier than scanning, iBank can use your Mac's built-in iSight camera to snap a photo of a receipt and automatically reverse it (instead of leaving you with the standard mirror-image).

There's an app for that. iBank Mobile for the iPhone or iPod touch syncs your accounts from iBank for Mac. Then you can enter new transactions on the go, syncing your new data back to accounts on the desktop version of iBank wirelessly, via wi-fi or MobileMe. One of the coolest things about iBank Mobile is that more than one copy - say, on iPhones used by business partners or spouses - can be synced back to the same copy of iBank for Mac. iBank Mobile costs $5 at the App Store.

Does this product interface directly via the web with Century Bank in MA

Best Answer
Yes - iBank works perfectly well in Canada, though fewer Canadian banks adhere to the standard connectivity protocol for automating the download of online transactions. However, if you can access your account data in a format compatible with Quicken, iBank can import those files quite easily.

Does iBank "learn" categories for spending, like Quicken?
For instance, will iBank recognize payments made at a gas station and automatically assign it a category of "Auto"...Quicken does this and it is very convenient.

Best Answer
Yes, iBank can memorize your manual transactions and autofill the same category to recurring payees. It also creates an editable list of these memorized transactions. There's also a feature called Smart Import Rules, which allows you to set up the same type of automatic categorization for transactions downloaded from online financial institutions.
