With the vesa mount adapter (a separate product, sold by Apple), it will work.
Basically, during the installation of the vesa mount adapter you put the display face-down, remove the stand, and put the vesa mount adapter onto the same fastener.
After that, the vesa mount on the display will just fasten to the vesa mount on the Bretford MobilePro.

Can this display arm be extended/Can another section be added to increase distance from wall mount?
- Asked by Victoria F from Los Angeles

Answer
I doubt it. The mechanism has been designed to support a display up to 30 inches. If you try to extend that, there will be more vertical pressure on the mounting point. Its possible that it might break off.

is there an external monitor that i can use to display what is on my macbook?

Best Answer
First things first...you would have to buy the Apple adapter--which can be purchased in the apple store...it is the Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter. With this adapter you would plug your macbook into a VGA cable which is also plugged into an external monitor. You can use any external display that takes a VGA cord. I hope this helps!
