AnswerThe EarPods are not in-ear headphones. They simply hang on to the lip of your ear and are 'one size fits all', whereas the in-ear headphones are far more secure, have better sound quality and come with various size buds for the best fit.

Are these "In-Ear Heaphones" compatible with my IPOD CLASSIC 160GB?

AnswerYes, they are compatible with the iPhone 5. Apple changed the charging connection to the iPhone 5, not the headphone connection.
