Best AnswerIf you prefer HDMI just get a lightening to HDMI converter. Although the Aple TV method is very cool and you also have all the other benefits of an Apple TV.

Connecting iPhone 5 to MDI music system in a VW Golf
I have the MDI with an MDI-to-iPod cable in a Mk 6 Golf which works with the iPod generation 4. However, I have recently purchased an iPhone 5 and would like to be able to connect it the same way such that I can control song selection and volume from the car's head unit. Will this adapter work for me?

AnswerYes it will, as long as you are using the MDI cable with the 30 pin connector (and the Apple 30 pin to Lightning adaptor). The MDI with USB will not work.

Is there a iPad 4th generation?
I was looking at the new adaptors for the iPad Mini and the new Touch. Also listed was the iPad 4th generation. Is there a 4th generation? I thought it was the iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3 or just iPad (just out last March)? Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

AnswerI purchased one with the cord to help dock my iPhone 5 into a Sony Air-sw10ti (which has the 30 pin dock) and it only charges the phone, no sound comes out of the Sony speakers.

Best AnswerYes, you can. However, you need to get the Lightning to 30-pin adapter so that you can plug it into your ihome, then your iPhone 5, and you're set.

I already have 30-pin to VGA Adapter that can properly display iPhone 4s screen on projector. I'm deciding to buy iPad mini with an adapter between Lightning to 30-pin Adapter or Lightning to VGA Adapter. Which one should I buy?
I think Lightning to 30-pin Adapter is multi-purpose adapter but I'm not sure that will it work properly if I connect like this?

AnswerIt clearly states in the description that this adaptor DOES NOT support video output. Therefore, it will NOT work for what you are planning to do with it.
