Can I use this adapter with existing Apple Digital AV Adapter?
I have the Apple AV adapter which I now use on my iPhone 4S and wonder if I will be able to still use the AV adapter with an iPhone 5 by simply purchasing the new iPhone 5 adapter.

No. I bought it and test it. "not support by apple" shown on iPhone 5 Screen and can't connect to TV via HDMI cable as iPhone 4S does.

No, not as it is, but I was able to trim a little, (very little) off the bottom of otter box case and it then went right in

Is there a reverse for this adapter? Female lighting, male 30 pin.
I want to make the Lighting adapter my preferred one that I carry in my bag every day (to charge the 5 and Mini), and use it to occasionally charge my iPad 3.

Mine works fine, but the iphone 5 with the adapter makes it too big to fit into the lower console of my 550i. I'm purchasing the .2m (8") adapter and hope it works as well but allows me to store the phone outside the console.
