AnswerI use this adapter with the I-Home AlarmClock/Radio dock and it works great. One your device is connected it will prompt you to download a free app from store onto your device. I use mine with i-pod 5th generation.

It allows you to connect older iPhone cables (30 pin) to your new iPhone 5 or iPad 4 with a Lightning connector.

AnswerYes!!!
I use this adapter with the I-Home AlarmClock/Radio dock and it works great. Once your I-pod touch 5th generation is connected it will prompt you to download a free app onto your device that will take about 60 seconds. Once you have done that it will work fine. Best AnswerNo, but there is an adapter you can buy that will fit the two together. Bose has just come out with the new docks for the new speedier connector.
