AnsweriPad can read photos & video from an SD card, but I don't think you'll be able to transfer video in the real format. Better to use a Mac or PC to convert the files and then iTunes to transfer them to your iPad, or put them on the web.

Will an XD card work in this reader? Will a standard media reader work?
My camera uses XD cards. Also can I use one of those media readers (that accepts XD cards) with my ipad 4 (using the Apple lightning cable connected to the cable that goes to the media reader)?

AnswerXD - NO, only SD.
Don't know if the USB camera connector kit would work, but if your camera allows direct USB connect you might be able to keep the XD card in the camera.- Answered by Stephen I from San Jose

what do I need to transfer photos from my COMPUTER to my mini Ipad

AnswerYou should already have everything you need, but I'll run over it... You need a computer with iTunes installed, a sync cable to connect the iPad to the computer, and of course the iPad. Fire up the computer and Itunes, then connect the iPad to the computer. Once ithe iPad connects and finishes syncing select it in Itunes. (It will appear in the upper right area of the screen once the computer detects it is connected) Now just click on the "Photos" tab. From there you can enable photo import to the ipad and choose which folders on your computer to import. After you do that click Sync and the folders & photos in them will import to the ipad.
