Can this charger be used with non retina display MacBook pros? (older model)
- Asked by Shazul A

Best AnswerNo it cannot because the older MacBook Pro uses MagSafe not MagSafe 2. The product you want is the Apple (60W for 13 inch computers or 85W for 15 and 17 inch computers) MagSafe Power Adapter.

Is it possible to pre-order a 220 Volt Magsafe 2 in one of your Apple Stores together with the new Macbook Pro?
I'm traveling to USA, from Sweden, and I'm wondering if it's possible to pre-order a 220 Volt Magsafe 2 in one of your Apple Stores together with the new Macbook Pro?
- Asked by Johnie H from Sigtuna

AnswerSo far, every MagSafe Power Adapter has been able to automatically handle 100V-240V. I would assume that this one is the same. That said, you should always check the adapter's input voltage information (which is usually printed on the power adapter itself or on the accompanying documentation) before plugging it in to any power source.
