Best AnswerThe previous "yes" answer is correct, it does indeed work under Wndows 7 Bootcamp, but the answer is a bit light on detail for a couple of the steps. Here's a fuller explanation:
1) download the driver per the instructions in the previous answer
2) unzip the drivers to a temporary folder on your hard drive
3) connect the adaptor to the thunderbolt port
4) reboot Windows
Windows should automatically detect the adaptor now and install it. You may need to point the installer at the location where you unzipped the drivers.
If Windows doesn't automatically install the device...
1) go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware & Sound and open Device Manager
2) click the name of your computer at the top of the device tree
3) click Action at the top of the window and choose Add Legacy Hardware
4) Click Next
5) Select "Install hardware that I manually select..."
6) Choose Network Adaptors
7) Choose "Have Disk"
8) Browse to the location of the drivers you unzipped earlier.
9) Click the .inf file
10) Select Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet from the list of drivers available
11) OK and install
You may need to reboot again with the adaptor plugged into the Thunderbolt port to finish the job,- Answered by Benjamin C from London

-connecting a Thunderbolt to Enet adapter to a Thunderbolt external hard drive doesn't do anything useful. (no NAS support built-in to Thunderbolt hard drives)

Can this be used to connect a Thunderbolt only storage device (i.e. Promise Pegasus R6 18TB) to a Gigabite Ethernet Hub?
Our studio is doing a budget report to see if we can go 100% Mac. Currently we have 2 x 4TB storage servers that we'd like to replace with some of those great Promise storage units like the Pegasus R6 18TB. However those are thunderbolt only units, so we were wondering if the Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter could be used to connect it to a network hub?

Can I use the Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter to add a 2nd net port to my Mini? I want a dedicated line to a storage server plus independent intranet.
I have a RAID server that provides network storage. The bulk of my big file transfers are to the Mac Mini I'm using as a server. I'd like to keep those transfers from using bandwidth on the rest of my network, and I can live with my other computers accessing the RAID server via the Mini. I'd like the Mini to be able to talk simultaneously on both networks at close to full speed. I've seen other adapters that do this, but they cost hundreds of dollars. Will the Apple Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter meet my goal?
