sorry apple do not make the orange smart cover any more but other brands make them but are not apple branded

Most likely from scuffs and minor falls. Don't expect a thinner case such as this to protect it from a high altitude fall or being thrown at the ground. Otterbox Defender Series cases for iPad will more effectively address those issues at the cost of form factor.

No. The Logitech ultrathin keyboard will barely accommodate an iPad 2 with a hard shell back cover, and because of the slightly thicker dimensions of the 3rd generation iPad, it will barely accommodate it without a case on it. Therefore, the 3rd generation iPad will not fit in the Logitech keyboard unless you mount it without a case.

It's made out of the same material as the cover: Polyurethane. Which is a great material because I've noticed that unlike rubber, no dust or lint is easy picked up on it.

Screen Protectors only just keep the grease of your fingers off the display. They don't do anything in words of protection. And also, I have tested this case myself and it kept the iPad perfect from a 5 foot drop onto a wood floor. I would say that it is tough enough for the accidentally drop now and again

No. But there is an Apple logo printed on the case in about the same location.

SENA ZIP BOOK AND THERE IS ALSO A BLACK MAGAZINE STYLE COVER THAT WILL WORK FOR THE ORIGINAL IPAD, IPAD FIRST-GENERATION. There may be more but those are the only two I know about for sure. JUST FYI, I PERSONALLY LIKE THE ZIP BOOK FOR EACH GENERATION BECAUSE IT ZIPS AROUND THE ENTIRE IPAD, AND IT IS PADDED. IT'S JUST WHEN YOU NEED TO TAKE PICTURES YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT EACH TIME TO UTILIZE BACK FACING CAMERA.

No magnet, but folds flat and doesn't get in the way during use with one hand holding it in portrait and resting the bottom on your stomach like a book.
