You can not use multiple disks to enlarge the size of even a single designated Time Machine backup. (The thing about Time Machine is that it will eventually fill up any disk you choose as the backup disk, no matter how large a disk you choose - as the amount of space that will be used is simply a function of time.)

You can, however, add an even larger USB external hard drive to your Time Capsule and switch your entire designated Time Machine backup disk to it instead of continuing to use the smaller disk that you've been using. Once the switch is completed, you could re-purpose the original (smaller) disk to a new task, such as backing up another (hopefully smaller) Mac.

Or, if you've been backing up multiple Macs to a single Time Capsule disk, you can limit the number of Macs that are being backed up to each particular designated destination backup disk, so that each disk that is designated as a backup destination is always the proper 2.5 to 3 times as large as the total size of the Mac disks being backed up to it.

Remember, you can add multiple external USB hard drives by connecting a self-powered USB hub to a Time Capsule. This can give you the ability to backup multiple Macs by designating one specific backup destination of sufficient size for each Mac being backed up.

Yes...

Using airport utility...

1. Select Manual Setup at the opening screen.
2. Select Internet (icon at the top of the window) and Internet Connection tab
3. Connect Using - select Ethernet
4. Connect Sharing - select Off (Bridge Mode)

This will turn off DHCP and use the networks DHCP server to allocate you an IP address automatically.

I'm using my Belkin modem/router as my DHCP server so I've set up my AE in just this manner. Simply plug an ethernet cable into the WAN socket and into the network socket in the room...

Well actually you can do this.
Simply make an image of the BootCamp partition on your Mac drive using WinClone . This will be a boot-able image of the BootCamp drive that can be restored in a few minutes.
Then backup the whole Mac drive with Time Machine.

I had the same issue and set up the 2TB Time Capsule as a Media Server, freed up space on my comp and Apple TV, and it made such a difference.

-Copy what you want from your iTunes Media Folder and save it onto the Time Capsule drive, then delete the originals from iTunes.

-Open iTunes Preferences, click Advanced, and uncheck where is says "Copy Files to iTunes Media Folder when Adding to Library" Then drag the files (now stored on the Time Capsule's HD) back into iTunes.

-MAKE SURE to RE-Check the 'copy files...." in preferences when you are done so future purchases and downloads still get organized to the iTunes Media folder on your comp

-I still sync my favorite stuff my Apple TV, but as long as itunes is open on your computer, this lets you stream your entire library, and also frees up space on the Apple TV.

No, Time Machine cannot back up FROM any network drives.

Yes. Time Machine creates separate backup files for each of your computers. These files will simply expand over time until your drive is full. Alternatively, you may wish to partition the drive using Disk Utility to allocate a specific amount of space for all or each of your computers.

It depends on if you are wanting it to backup your CD's or replace them.

1. To backup CD's is not what it is made for, but it can backup CD's imported into iTunes.
2. To replace them and 'stream' music from it then Apple TV is needed, but again this is not what Time Capsule is made for.

To put music on it 'rip' (import) the files to your computer using iTunes. You can then do one of 3 things:
1. Backup your machine using any backup software selecting the Time Capsule as the destination and the iTunes folder as the source
2. Use Time Machine to backup your Mac to the Time Capsule
3. Go into iTunes and put the root folder (Preferences / Advanced) onto the Time Capsule (note: to play any music on your computer you must be connected to the Time Capsule).

Here is my setup:
Apple TV (1st gen) connected wirelessly to the TimeCapsule with my iTunes root folder on the TimeCapsule. When I open iTunes (on my Mac, although it could be on a PC) it syncs my media to the Apple TV. I can then play anything on the Apple TV and it streams around my house using 2 Airport Express boxes with speakers attached. I then use iDrive to backup everything online.
