No, it doesn't. It relies on you using the wall plug charger and cable that comes with the iPad 2 with the original purchase.

can you connect an ipod classic to ipad2
bought my daughter an ipad2 ro replace her macbook. She recently replaced her ipod classic with a new one as it is the large storage that she wanted. I know that she can transfer photos using the camera connection kit but can she wire connect/sync the ipod to the ipad?
