Does the Apple iPad 2 Dock work in portrait?
I am looking for a solution that will allow me to have a keyboard (preferably wireless, but a dock will do). I read some people saying they suggest getting the wireless Bluetooth keyboard and pair it with this dock. However, from what I can tell, it doesn't seem like is supports both portrait and landscape. Just curious if I'm wrong. Thanks!

Can I use the dock w/ an iPad 2 to run it off the AC adapter and at the same time, use the camera connector kit?
Basically, since I have not seen the physical dock, can you be running the iPad off AC by placing it in the dock, and at the same time, plug in the camera connector kit??? W/out a dock, you can only plug in "1" of the above at a time. I would like to plug in BOTH.

AnswerYes, the dock has a 30-pin connector on the back. You would dock the iPad and plug the camera connector into the back of the dock.

How do I connect an iPad2 to my 24" cinema display?
My 24" cinema display from Apple (2008) has two wires that attach to my Macbook Pro one for audio with a USB end and one for video with a mini display port. If I buy an Ipad how will I be able to connect the cinema display to the iPad? Thank you.

Best AnswerYes. It works for me. You have to get a digital AV adapter that comes with a HDMI port for iPad. Then you have to get an HDMI-DVI adapter to connect to the HDMI port. Connect the DVI cable of the 24" cinema display to the HDMI-DVI adapter and the USB end to any USB port on your computer/keyboard/hub, etc.

Best AnswerNope. The original and the iPad 2 have a different profile and that will prohibit the iPad 1 from fitting in this dock. They sell a different one.

charge and sync simultaneously?
Can I charge and sync with iTunes simultaneously? Do I need two cables?

AnswerNO. My understnading is that the iPad draws more power than the USB connection is able to provide. To charge the iPad you need the power adapter hooked up to it... musical plugs.
