Can a Thunderbolt display switch between two computers?
If a Thunderbolt display is the primary display for a Mac Mini, is it possible for the display to switch to a MacBook Air? Without necessarily pulling the Thunderbolt connection from the Mac Mini? (Extra credit if this means the two machines could share the same USB-connected keyboard and mouse, via the same display?)
To the best of my knowledge, there aren't any Thunderbolt console switches yet. I'd prefer never to buy one.- Asked by Marco N from Moraga

- Asked about: Twelve South BookArc for MacBook Ai…
Answer
No, if your MacBook air doesn't have thunderbolt, you'll never be able to connect to a Thunderbolt display. But you could buy the 27 inch Apple Cinema display which does have a minidisplayport input that would connect directly to your Air. This book arc stand is just a metal stand, it can't convert your inputs to Thinderbolt and sadly nothing can unless you get the new MacBook Air. Hope this helps!

- Asked about: Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad …
Answer
Yes it will. I currently use this wired keyboard along with a wireless trackpad and leave the keyboard connected to one of the USB ports on the back of the Thunderbolt Display. The two USB ports on the keyboard work fine for me when connecting my iPhone/iPad to sync.
