Do you need composite cable with universal dock or will dock allow you to watch iPhone videos pics etc through tv?
I have an iPhone and want to watch videos through my tv, can this be done with the universal dock or composite cable or do I need both?
I also have surround sound with iPod/iPhone dock which allows me to listen to my tunes but doesn't allow visuals, does anyone know how this can be achieved?

AnswerI use the composite AV cable with the yellow,white and red plugs on my old analog TV with the iPad and it works for NetFlix and You Tube. Check out the answers on the support site for the difference between component and composite AV cables.

Will this cable work on Pioneer Avic-700Bt car raido
I have an Pioneer Avic 700bt and a Pioneer cable came with it and it worked well for 3 months. For the past few weeks I've only been able to get sound from the left side of my car.. no sound from right speakers.

I would like to know the difference (if there is any) between the composite cables versions. I've heared that some old cables don´t support devices as iPhone4 or iPad.
