They don't seem to. The adapter doesn't hold the iPhone 4 upright enough for the dock connector on the Bose SoundDock Portable to stay engaged. It's very disappointing.

Will this dock adapter allow me to use iphone 4 with bose sound dock without removing otter box to put on sound dock?
I have to remove otter box in order to use it on Bose Sound Dock. Need an extension or cable so I don't have to remove otter box. Is this adapter what I need?
