When you're running/sprinting do the earphones come out of your ear with arm motion?
When I'm running, especially sprinting, the earphone cord swings around and the ear buds come out of my ear with my shuffle. I'm curious if when I put my nano in an armband like this a similar thing will happen since it's strapped to your arm...

I think the problem that you have is not something that most cases can fix as most cases do not have any cable ties. But you can normally sort these things out through threading the cable up your sleeve then out the top of your t-shirt. Hopefully this would reduce the cable swing.

Is there a sweat-proof case/cover for the 5th gen iPod nano that is NOT an armband but rather a clip-on?
I'd like a case/cover that will clip on to my shirt or shorts while working out.

I have no idea - tried to ask this question myself and the website brought me to this after I entered my apple id ... seems they don't make anything for use on a belt when working out - shame as armbands are not that comfortable to my way of thinking. Cheers.

where can i find an armband for 2nd generation nano
I have a teal 2nd generation Ipod nano 8GB. I have had it since 2007. I bought A BELKIN case for it in Meijer immediately after. I need a carrying case to wear during a workout because the velcro has worn off the current cases that I have. I don't want to keep tying my Ipod onto my arm because it won't stick. I hope that this particular case isn't too outdated! Please help!

is there a first generation ipod nano 4G armband with the hole on the right side?

Yes, I have a 1st Generation 4G IPOD. I have a Extreme Mac Neoprene armband that I have
had since I bought my IPOD from the Apple Store. The armband was availlable from the
Apple Store too, but I don't think so any longer. I haven't seen it there.Don't know WHY
they changed the headphone jack to the other side - guess they wanted us all to buy
new armband if we bought the 5th Gen. nano. (~: Anyway, if you check online with
Extreme Mac, you may be able to find an armband. I love mine. Good luck on finding the
armband for your IPOD.- Answered by Linda W from Inyokern

is there a waist clip where the nano doesn't slip out?
I have the clear waist clip soft cover for my nano (the older, skinny model-5th generation) but the nano constantly slips down as it has no bottom to it.....I'm specifically looking for a waist clip with a strap or something across the bottom to prevent this from happening.

will this fit a first generation ipod nano 4G?
- Asked by Michelle T from San Ramon
- Oct 12, 2009
- Flag as inappropriate
Best Answer
No, because the iPod nano 4th generation has the earjack on the bottom right of the iPod whereas the new iPod nanos have the earjack on the bottom left therefore making it not possible for you to plug your headphones in.

Answer
Most products would be ok but the screens and scroll wheels are located in different places so this wouldn't work on the 2nd gen. They are virtually the same size - 2nd gen is 3.5 x 1.6 and 5th gen is 3.6 x 1.5.

No. Well it will but you wont be able to plug your headphones in as the headphone jack is in a diffrent place to the 5G. So unless your planning on just showing it off and not actually listening to music i wouldnt buy it. =D
