How easy is it to set up the Airport Extreme with a Netgear wired router DG834. Does anybody use this configuration?
I have heard that in the UK it is difficult to find a DSL modem that is compatible with the Airport Extreme. I have the Netgear DG834 and am hoping to install an Apple wireless network but am nervous about compatibility and ease of set up.

Which relatively cheap printers work with a USB connection to Airport Extreme, using it wirelessly from both a Mac (SnLeopd) and PC/Windows Vista/7?
I have a wireless router (Linksys) now, but am interested in replacing it with an Airport Extreme. Both for the N support, and for the USB connection to have a printer available wirelessly. And we have a mix of laptops, with a Mac running Snow Leopard and two PCs, one currently running Vista and the 2nd running Windows 7. What I gather from web searches is that it is hard to pre-determine printers that will actually work with as a USB printer with the Airport Extreme and various OS. Do you have recommendations for relatively cheap printers that you've found to work with the environment described?

In order to share printer, do we have to have a wireless printer that work through Airport Extreme?
I bought an Airport extreme that works very well with my computers. But when I try to print wirelessly, it does not work. Although I have set up everything according to the instruction, it still fails to print out wirelessly.
My printer is not a wireless printer though. Thus, my question is, do I have to have a wireless printer or not, to share printer through Airport Extreme? If Airport extreme works with non-wireless printers, can you help me how to do it?
Thanks in advance.- Asked by ST from Frederick

If I broadcast to both a 11N device on the 5 gHz band and to a 11G device on the 2.4 gHz band, will I be able to see a networked printer on both?
I currently use a 11G Linksys router used to serve a wired iMac, a wired HP printer, a wireless 12 inch Powerbook (which I believe is limited to 11G), and a wireless MacBook capable of 11N speeds. I understand the the Apple Extreme router will serve the MacBook at 11N speeds while also serving the Powerbook at 11G speed. Will I be able to see all devices on both the 11G and 11N sides of the router including being able to print from all devices to the wired HP printer?

I keep losing signal, even when sitting close to my base station. I think there is electrical interference. How can I be sure and what can I do?
Airport base keeps losing signal. I suspect electrical interference. I live in a restoration home with lots of old wiring and pipes in the walls. additionally, there are several other neighbor networks within range--but their signals drop as well.
What can I do to be certain of electrical interference and what can I do to combat it.
BTW...I can take the computer and Airport base station elswhere and it works fine.- Asked by CD from Knoxville
