Is there a Korean keyboard for a mac?
- Asked by Christopher D from New York

Best AnswerI called the US Apple Store and was infomed that Apple does not sell a Korean keyboard in the states. If I wanted to purchase one I would need to do it through the Korean Apple Store and must have a South Korea address to which they could ship the keyboard. They suggested I try MacMall or some other vendor. So far, haven't found any. There are a lot of sites with keyboard stickers but I'm looking for the actual keyboard.

1. Can I rearrange the keys on the wireless keyboard to Dvorak configuration? Special tool needed? 2. Can I use 2 wireless keyboards with 1 Mac?

Best Answer1. Yes, this is easy. You do not need a special tool. Using your fingers, pry the keycap up from the upper left or upper right corner. You will need to use some force, but don't overdo it; use the minimum amount of force necessary. The key caps will come up with two or three audible clicks. The keycaps have three parts: the square letter you push on and two pieces of white plastic that snap into the bed and into the back of the square. If you do it correctly, the two pieces of white plastic will stay attached to the bed. If the pieces of plastic come up with the square, you can snap them out (this requires a little delicacy) and put them back in the bed. Once you are used to the angle and force required, this happens very rarely. You reattach by putting the square down on the bed in the correct orientation and pushing down. There will be several audible clicks as the square engages with the white plastic. If it is loose, the white plastic pieces probably got misaligned when you took the square keycap off, just carefully attach them to the bed and try again.
I would recommend extreme care doing this with any of the keys that are not square. They have different white plastic connectors and it is easy to damage them if you pull from the wrong direction.- Answered by Gabriel C. D from Forestville

Are there more than one model of the wireless keyboard produced by apple in the last two years?
- Asked by Noor Q from Salisbury
- Mar 23, 2011
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerYES; well sort of.
Apple released the current wireless keyboard (Model number: A1255) in (I believe) 2009, however this is a revised (but cosmetically identical) version of the previous model (A1314) which was released in (again, I believe) 2007.
The only difference between the old and new revised model is that the old model required 3xAA batteries and doesn't work with handheld devices like the iPad and iPhone, due to it using a different bluetooth signal I think?
The current model only requires 2xAAs and does indeed work with iPhones, ipads and your Mac/PC.
Hope this helps.- Answered by Robert N

The answers so far do not give the actual size and weight of this keyboard. This is crucial information to inform a decision to buy. Thanks.

Answeru do not need any other keyboards for Chinese, like those language "specific" ones, and simply hit the rigth-upper corner "eject" key. dada! u have the choice to use pinyin or traditional Chinese characters, by touching that globe-symbol key on the virtual keyboard on the screen.

How easy is it to pair this keyboard with multiple devices?
I'd like to be able to use it (at different times) with a MBP, iphone or ipad. I'm wondering if that's easy to do (say by simply toggling bluetooth on and off on each device), or if the keyboard would only let itself be 'paired' with a single device at a time and if I'd have to go through a re-pairing process every time I changed.

Best AnswerWhilst the keyboard can be paired with multiple devices (for me an iPhone, MBA and iMac) it is occasionally problematic. You have to remember to switch off bluetooth on (or at least disconnect) the devices you don't want to type on. If you do forget all that happens is that halfway through typing the keyboard stops, or in other cases while starting a device you find you cannot type a password for example.

Is there a key board for the I Pad Mini. What size is it?

Best AnswerJust to clarify, the keyboards from Apple are Bluetooth, not WiFi. The Apple Wireless Keyboard does work with iPad Mini. Hard to get precise dimensions on the net as people report different sizes and don't use metric, which means that they are generally less specific. 15 x 5 inches-ish seems to be about average from what I can see. Now why don't Apple just list the dimensions on the product info page?! Would also be nice if dimensions info posted was in metric!

Can I use this keyboard with my PC if I have a bluetooth dongle??
I would like to upgrade to a wireless keyboard and mouse, but will soon be switching to a Mac. If I buy the keyboard now, will it work on my PC? I don't have Bluetooth, but I can buy a USB dongle and add it pretty easily right?

Bluetooth Impact on iPad Battery Life?
From the reviews I'm reading, I think I would prefer the Bluetooth keyboard to the keyboard docking station, but I am curious what kind of impact having the Bluetooth on all the time has on the battery life of the iPad between charges.
If the battery life is cut from 9 hours to 5, for example, it may not be worth it (I have used cell phones that Bluetooth cuts battery life almost in half).- Asked by Craig W from Elmwood Park

Best AnswerThanks for your response. I did end up getting it, and did some testing (I'm using it right to to reply to this, actually) and I am VERY pleased over all.
Excellent response and feel.
Lightweight, small and thin, but extraordinarily easy to use.
I kept the iPad on for 24 hours with the Bluetooth turned off and hardly used it at all. At the end of the day I had 98% battery life left.

I kept the iPad on for 24 hours with the Bluetooth turned off and used it off and on all day - not excessive use. At the end of the day I had about 76% battery life left.

Autocorrection with the wireless keyboard?
Very interested in buying the Wireless keyboard... But does it allow the auto correction as does the iPad when I type on its keyboard.
If I've chosen the French keyboard, it'll autocorrect my French mistakes.
If I've chosen English, it'll autocorrect also, but in English.
That's so amazing that I regret not to have it on my MBP when I happen to write on it...
Thanx in advance.

what is difference between Wireless Keyboard 184/A and 184/B?
What is the difference between the wireless keyboards 184LL A and 184LL B?
- Asked by Steven Z from Hendersonville
- Nov 15, 2011
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerVH's answer is inaccurate. First, all Apple wireless keyboards take AA batteries, not AAA. The other inaccuracy is that 184LL/A and B both take two AA batteries (not three). Three AA batteries were the model previous to 184LL/A. The B model replaced the A in mid 2011, but I do not know what the difference is. I would guess it is some kind of update to the bluetooth standard, as the A model has been shipping since 2009. And models A and B are the same size and shape and have the same features (power button, etc).

Two Keyboards
If I have a computer at home with a wireless keyboard what would happen if I brought a second wireless keyboard in the room? Would the home computer start to sense the second keyboard and lose connection of the first keyboard, for even a short period of time? Thanks!

Answerif the keyboard is of the same brand it may detect it may or may not. the computer would proably sense they keyboard but as long as you don't establish the connection with the 2nd keyboard you will be fine.
