i upgraded by 2008 mac pro 8 core xeon and it is working fine. Only thing I noticed which may be normal is the fan is really load at power on but comes down to normal speed in a few seconds. Have no issues upgraded to lastest version of leopard before installing. I now have running with snow leopard fine.

As of now, there is not an adapter out there allowing DVI to Mini Display. I'm in the same boat as you. I certainly don't want to purchase 2 of these cars just to push two of Apple's LED displays. I hope this helps!

Will this work with MacPro1,1 2007. Want to replace my x1900 ATI Radion
Sorry to ask this question again, but the answers to the other 2007 mac pro questions are mostly about 2006 models and 2008 models:
I have a:
Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro1,1
Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 9 GB
Bus Speed: 1.33 GHz
Boot ROM Version: MP11.005C.B08
SMC Version (system): 1.7f10
Trying to replace a:
ATI,RadeonX1900:
Bus: PCI
Slot: Slot-1
Vendor ID: 0x1002
Device ID: 0x7249
Subsystem Vendor ID: 0x1002
Subsystem ID: 0x7249
Revision ID: 0x0000
Link Width: x16
Link Speed: 2.5 GT/s
What card is best to replace this with, I run two cinema displays.
Will this card work, I don't care if it won't run at full bore, but I heard that the ram I have could cause an issue?:
Type: DDR2 FB-DIMM
Speed: 667 MHz
