I purchased a Dual 2.26GHz Mac Pro (on November 18) with the default NVIDIA GeForce GT 120. If it is possible to have up to four GT 120s (apparently none require additional power), then can an ATI Radeon HD 4870 be installed, hooked up to both additional power connectors and still retain the GT 120 in another PCIe slot?

Currently, the ATI Radeon HD 5870 is not compatible with the MacPro. There have been no announcements as of yet. Anything about 5870 for a MacPro would be purely speculative.
