Will this drive work in my two year old MacPro? Barracuda ES.2 SATA 3.0-Gb/s 1-TB Hard Drive ST31000340NS
When I purchased my MacPro I maxed it with 4 750gig hard drives. I would like to replace one of them with a 1TB drive.

Will these work in an Xserve RAID unit - is the carrier (caddy) the same?
I want to add another array of 4 drives to an existing Xserve Raid unit. I can't find these anywhere (except the odd one on ebay).

I need to replace one of my drive modules on my xserve. The old one is 250gigs... can hotswap the old one and replace it with the 1TB sata?

Can I buy an emptydrive module. I would prefer to use Seagate es.2 and not the WD drives that Apple sometimes supplies. Will it work?

The description says that this module is designed for Intel XServes, then it says early 2009, but I have an Intel early 2008.
