Any suggestions for a mousepad when using on a glass desk?
- Asked by James V from New York

Best Answeryes. since this uses laser tracking i'd suggest very much getting a mousepad. i guess the laser can't track between mirrors and translucent surfaces. the mouse is so beautiful it actually looks better without any mousepad etc underneath! but you cant win em all yes

Best AnswerJust what JH answered, computer with Bluetooth / (BT) - pairing is simple. Everything is there in your Mac Software, no need to hunt down anything. Just enable your MacBook Pro's BT (if it's not already) and do "Setup a BT Device"
Make sure to set your new mouse's preferences per your taste, enjoy!- Answered by Mihir G from Fontana

How much does the Magic Mouse weigh?
Im interested in comparing the weight of a Magic mouse to a Mighty mouse
- Asked by Darren S from Vancouver
- Oct 20, 2009
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerAccording to iFixit.com, the mouse alone (no batteries) weighs approximately 47 grams. Two AA batteries will double this to 94 grams.
If weight is an issue, consider picking up some Energizer Lithium batteries which weigh less than a standard Alkaline battery. The Wireless Mighty Mouse comes standard with these Energizer Lithium batteries. The last longer too.- Answered by Mikol F from Ontario

What would be an optimum surface for usage?
This isn't a question of what surface will or will not work as that becomes obvious immediately. I'm just curious which type of surface would be optimum as far as accuracy, the physical sound of the mouse sliding, etc. This isn't something that would matter for normal computer use but being in the design field requires the majority of my time using the mouse so minor things become major pretty quickly. :-)

AnswerI'm using it on a hard smooth surface which is free of foreign objects.
It is actually a glass desk without a mouse mat.
The need for the mouse to travel is somewhat minimised as I can now ues the gesture functions on the mouse for timeline adjustments in FCE and FCP.
Keep the surface free of debris as there is nothing worse than the crunching or screaching as a foreign object gets trapped under the mouse and draged all over the desk.- Answered by Lewis H from Baldock
