AnswerThat depends on the version of OS X you are running, but if you are running version 10.6.8 or later, you will be able too. To check what version you are running, go to the Menu at the top left of the screen, select About This Mac, and right below Mac OS X, you will see your version.

Best AnswerIt works like a charm. Just finding it without the scrolling works and I then installed the first Magic Mouse driver for Windows 7 I could find ... works like a charm, well, at least left 'button', right button and the magic scrolling.

Can I use both the left and right "buttons" at once?
Some applications let you hold down both mouse buttons to do certain actions. I can't find a way to do that with the Magic Mouse.

AnswerUsing Apple's software, no.
If you really need to, I would suggest looking for third-party utilities that may enable this function. Take caution in using these third-party utilities, because Apple does not support the usage of these utilities and they are to be used at your own risk.- Answered by Gavin R from Sutter

AnswerJust like the Mighty Mouse there are no "physical" buttons, but you can set the mouse up in System Preferences to allow right, or secondary, clicking. Once you do this it works fine, just like a mouse with physical buttons.

Is the magic mouse as accurate as a wired mouse?
Hi,
Is the new Magic Mouse as accurate as a wired mouse?
I work on an 8 Core Mac Pro on two ACD 30"s in CS4 and FCPro and find the previous wireless mouse is too sloppy and slow to use in detailed work. But I would love this new one if it is a fast and as accurate as the wired mouse that Apple ship.
Thanks.

Best AnswerTypically, no wireless mouse will be as responsive as a wired mouse. This has to do with the simple fact of data thru put speeds and signal latency. Bluetooth is a relatively low speed and high latency technology. USB on the other hand has more than enough overhead to allow for EXTREMELY accurate input control. While this new mouse beats my old wireless mighty mouse in speed and accuracy it is no match for a high quality wired gaming mouse. Good mouse yes, gaming mouse NO!

how to change scroll direction
My scroll is going in the wrong direction, when I move my finger down it scrolls up and vice versa. This happened after I got the Lion update.

Best AnswerI'm sure you've already figured this out by now, but go to System Preferences/ Mouse. At the top of the window is an option for natural direction (or something like that). Uncheck it.
