is there a side button for viewing all your open windows

Best Answer
There is an app called MagicPrefs which allows you to fully customize the touch features of the Magic Mouse. For example, you can assign a three-finger click to activate Exposé and a four-button click to activate the Dashboard, essentially giving it the same functionality as the old Mighty Mouse.

Does the magic mouse work with iPad2?
I bought the magic mouse along with the iPad 2 - there was no mention that it would not work or not compatible.

I bought the Magic Mouse and asked the clerk specifically if it is compatible with the IPad2 and she said yes. So, I bought it... It doesn't work. Won't sync with it. It's a shame that store has uninformed clerks working for them...

Yes you can, but it does not come as a standard feature. There's a Beta App called "BetterTouchTool" which will provide more multi-touch functionality, including middle click.

Do I need to switch the mouse off whenever I switch off or put my iMac to sleep?
Does the magic mouse have an automatic sleep mode of sorts?
- Asked by Faaiz K from Stockton-on-tees

Best Answer
You do not need to turn the mouse on and off when you allow your iMac to sleep or turn it off. The mouse itself will just sit there, but it does use the battery a little bit. You can turn it on and off as you please when you turn the computer on and off, but the battery life is pretty good, so just leaving it on should not be a problem.

I am not sure how it would work in Windows XP but I know it works in Windows 7 because I am current using it. It's just a point and click mouse (so you will lose the touch features).

Answer
No. The iPad only uses a touch-input method. While iPads do have bluetooth, there is no cursor so there would be no way to use any mouse with the iPad.

In a word "yes". I got mine yesterday, Nov. 3rd, and it is such an improvement over the Logitech wireless monster I had been using. Much less strain on my old fingers and tendons! By any means get it and enjoy it. It pairs flawlessly with your Mac. Bravo to Apple, as if they needed another acolade. The keyboard and the mouse were made for eachother.
