Can i use the thunderbolt minidisplay port to VGA then to RCA. The reason is when I travel some hotels do not have the HDMI TV yet.

Yes. You will need an adapter box - VGA to RCA/S video - plus all the cables to connect the bits together. Audio will have to be dealt with separately

what cable do I need to connect my I Mac to a projecter?The mini display port to VGA adaptor that I got, does not work. Inger Lauge, Viborg Denmark
The projecter I bought has a cable that can connect to a PC but not an I Mac or Mac book. I got a mini display port to VGA adapter but it does not work with the IMac, the port is different from the one I have on my Mac book pro, where it works. But I need to connect to the projecter form my I Mac as well
What kind of cable should I get that will fit into the projecter port on my I Mac?

you need a separate cable for audio--one that can plug into the headphone jack on your computer (1/8" connector) which you can adapt to RCA or whatever you require

What cables will I need to connect a late '09 MacBook Pro 13" to my Samsung 23" LCD flat panel TV?
The TV has an HDMI input as well as a VGA(HD-15) input. The model number on the TV is LN-R238W. What input would give me better quality viewing, and what are ALL the cables that I need to use my TV as another screen?

Answer
You can always use a VGA splitter, however it is only going to duplicate and distribute the same VGA signal to multiple monitors. This is ideal if you want to have multiple displays displaying the same thing (projector/monitor/laptop). This will not extend your display onto a second monitor.
