AnswerYes, it will work with the Bose system. Just pop out the universal adapter in the Bose and pop the Apple adapter in. Note the orientation of the small slot on the adapter and don't force it! See your Bose manual for more info on how to change this if you have any problems, but it is pretty straight forward.

Best AnswerThis is only the adaptor to enable the iPod touch 2nd gen fit snuggly in the universal dock. You would need the Apple universal dock. The dock charges the iPod as long as it's connected to either the USB mains adaptor, or your computer vis USB. It doesn't charge with the firewire mains adaptor. Hope this helps.
